NJ ATV Rentals — Local services in Old Bridge Township

I booked this place for my birthday a week ahead and prepaid for 6 spots with my credit card to hold spots for my friends . I explained I wasn’t sure I knew the total head count. They told me I could change my reservation last minute if things changed but I had to give them 3 days notification if I cancelled. It was explained fuzzy. I kept my reservation until 2 days before and called to let them know 4 people backed out and 2 WOULD BE COMING . I was one day past their policy. It was $690 total and they charged me $50 per cancellation. I cancelled the 6 reservations because it would have been a sad day on my birthday to ride knowing I was paying $490 for 2 riders and 4 empty slots. Meaning it would have cost me $490 to keep the 2 reservations. They did not work with me and stuck to their policy saying they counted on my reservation and can’t gaurenteed the four slots to be filled by someone else. I explained it was my birthday and I was stuck paying this reservation of which my friends were supposed to pay if they went All I got was a refund of $300 of the $690 and it was such a waste of birthday money. I’m disappointed with how they did not work with me on my special day as a business that caters to days like these. I did not experience the atv’s but my friends backed out when they realized it was a guided tour on 200cc bikes which felt like it was riding for kids not adults since they were experienced riders. But nevertheless, it put a bad taste in my mouth and that was my experience. I spoke to two people and still I’m out $390 because they kept my $300 with no remorse. I just want my full refund back or offer a gift certificate for another day. I wasn’t riding on my birthday knowing I was overspending. To make clear I called Thursday and left a message. (In response to NJ ATV response, thank you btw!!! The facts were stated but your company IS MAKING IT SEEM AS IF I DIDNT HAVE A PRIOR CONVERSATION ABOUT FORGIVENESS SINCE YES I DIDNT KNOW HOW MANY WOULD COME.) And yes I was supposed to know by Wednesday since that was the last day and but I called Thursday since that was the day they backed out and again on Friday for Saturday to make sure my message was received. I just want people to know that you are unforgiving in your policies AND and they will LOSE their money. Yes you stick to your policy well and I want everyone to know that. My review is about losing my money after a conversation of being able to change the reservation around as needed. I was unable. I’m sure anyone who wants to ride will have a good time riding on 200cc bikes guided, but be sure to know everyone will make it or...

MOST MEMORABLE BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE!!

I spent my birthday here after horseback riding and can I just say this was ONE OF THE MOST memorable b-day experiences I have had. I never thought that riding an ATV through dirt, mud and around tight bends would be fun for this Girly Girl! However, this place and Rich our tour leader changed my mind -- this experience was worth every penny and more.

BOOKING The lady on the phone explained that they could not offer any rides in Englishtown but they had another location that I could go to...She also recommended a few places around the area I could visit since I was also interested in horseback riding. They gave me the time to think about it, I then booked the experience and the waiver forms were sent to me. I also received a text message reminder the day before. Talk about exceptional Customer Service and clear communication to make my birthday worth while!

My friends and I had the best time visiting ATV Rentals this past weekend. The staff was very kind, friendly, professional and patient. Fear overwhelmed me on the first practice run and I didn’t think I could do it. Thought a panic attack was approaching and I was afraid to hurt someone and instead of me controlling the ATV, the ATV was gonna control me! Embarrassment, dIsappointment and sadness set in immediately. Rich held me aside, and let my friends continue on with the practice and the tour. He assured me how common my feelings were and gave me a ton of similar experiences they’ve dealt with over the years. He patiently coached me back and somehow built up my confidence to try again. He advised if I felt comfortable, I could meet up with my friends or continue just doing practices. I was so appreciative of his patience and support!! After about 4 more practice runs, I was ready!! He led me out onto the tour trail to meet up with my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the tour!! We had the best time and will definitely go again!! So thankful of the professionalism. Rich advised me that they are prepared for unexpected issues. I appreciated knowing that they don’t leave their customers stranded in crisis mode. But help, coach, reassure and guide them to a successful, enjoyable experience. Which is what I had. I’m leaving this detailed review as it may help someone.
