I got married on 2/15/22 in Treasure Island FL. I'm from NY so I was terrified at the thought of having hair and make up done without recommendations and without a practice run. I found Glam To Be and Martyna through Google searches. She had the highest reviews and FOR GOOD REASON! AT the outset, she had amazing communication. She responded to me through email and we discussed what I wanted and needed. We exchanged photos and details easily. And then the day of, Martyna was incredible! She completed make up for myself and 3 other ladies and we all looked like flawless super models. Our makeup was natural and beautiful. We did not look cakey or fake. We all felt flawless. As for hair, she had her assistant (I cannot remember her name and I feel wretched for it!) complete all 4 styles. We all showed her pictures for each look and she made suggestions, listened to choices and made the entire experience fun, carefree and unforgettable. Four different hair-dos on four very different hair types and lengths is challenging and they were completed without issue or complaint. All four of us ladies left for my wedding looking and feeling like models and it ended up being the most beautiful day. For my wedding I was specific - I wanted a natural, timeless, beautiful look that still looked like me and Martyna achieved this flawlessly. I can't say I had the easiest time finding a makeup artist. I went to 3 trials before I had a trial with Glam to be, and my inspo pics and explanation of what I wanted didn't change. Martyna was the only one who actually gave me a no-makeup makeup look. I don't have the best skin but she made me look and feel flawless. My mom and bridesmaids loved their make-up as well, they raved about how good of a job she did. Tasha did my hair in a high bun that I was also very specific about, and she nailed it! I wanted volume with a big classy big bun and she also executed exactly what I wanted. Tasha also did all my bridesmaids and moms hair beautifully with long with wavy curls. A high glam look with deep contour and bold eyes is nice but its not what I wanted for my wedding day, and even though I explained this, its what I got in every other trial I went to. Glam to Be is the best option for professional hair and makeup needs! Everyone on the team is so talented and so easy to connect with. They are wonderful people and truly make you feel SO special during the entire process! Martyna paid attention to the needs of my skin and every detail of the makeup application as well as individually with everyone else in my wedding party and each one turned out AMAZING! Her team was able to do about 8 people’s hair and makeup beautifully and in a really great timeframe. I was also absolutely blown away with how my hair turned out!! I knew it would be a very intricate style with my long hair but it came out even better than the reference photo I provided and it stayed in all night long and didn’t budge at all! Everyone in my bridal party absolutely loved their hair and makeup (my two flower girls even said they looked and felt like princesses).
