I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the customer service and overall experience I encountered during my visit today. Unfortunately, after each visit, the quality of service has progressively worsened, and I can no longer overlook these issues.
Today, I came in specifically to use the dog wash station, but I was met with a filthy station and a malfunctioning water supply. After speaking with the staff, I was informed that they would need to wait until the other person using the second station was finished, as they did not want to get wet. Given that there are two dog wash stations designed to operate simultaneously, this reasoning was unprofessional and unreasonable. When I addressed this with the staff member, I was told she would return promptly, but after waiting for over ten minutes, I noticed she was simply chatting with other employees at the front desk, completely ignoring my request. Employees should not sign up for this job if they do not want to deal with the dog wash station and/or are scared to get wet.
Additionally, she advised the bath stations are not cleaned after each use, meaning customers are left to clean up after the previous person if they leave a mess. This is not only inconvenient but also unsanitary. Also, we are paying for the service. We should not have to clean up after another person. I was expected to clean up this mess myself.
I would also like to note that my previous visits I had to use wet towels, and another time, there was no soap available. Most recently, I noticed that the soap dispensers were watered down to the point that they are barely soap.
I will not be returning to this location. For anyone seeking to bathe their dog, I would strongly recommend driving the extra 20 minutes to Hollywood Feed in Germantown.
It is unfortunate that this location, which is pretty convenient to me, has deteriorated to this level of service. Get it...
Read moreIt is a very cheap and easy way to wash your baby as long as they are socialized/ not dog or people aggressive. I took my babies there and both times someone else came to use the other tub. No big deal because my dogs are trained to sit and stay for the bath. They even sit when I need them to stand 😅
If someone does bring their baby and they are aggressive, the tubs are high enough that there shouldn't be issues, but there is no barrier between tubs. So, there is potential for issues. I have bathed a lot of German shepherds, bullys, etc....dog aggressive dogs/ dogs just aggressive in general should NOT be brought here. It is very public and for socialized babies.
Their shampoos and conditioner smell nice. The water system has enough water pressure to get soap and conditioner out faster than just a normal water hose/ shower head. They give you access to some brushes and combs, but I would rather use my own. The comb is very pointed and could cause irritation. The furninator is okay, but you have to be careful. It will cut hair. I do use it on my big dog, but not too much. I prefer the furminator rake. The dryer is perfect for the public. It isn't as loud and strong as a grooming salons dryer, but I think that is a good thing. Some babies freak out for the super loud and strong driers. All in all, it is a good $20 spent to wash my dogs inside instead of out with the mosquitoes/ in a tub with poor water pressure. I...
Read moreThe only things more inconsistent than their stock of pet food and other needed items for life out here, is their managment and the shape of the plants in the garden area. The customer service has fallen off in the last few times i have been in there. A few of the employees are really great but none of them are managment. They don't promote the good ones apparently. Nothing special here. I had high hopes...
