We got the salmon lover roll and the Hibach lobstertail, steak combo, substituting rice for lo main. Everything was delicious, and the price value for what you get is insanely good. Our grand total was $48 before tip (the lobster drove the price up, but an absolute bargain considering the normal price of lobster). The atmosphere was nice. It was quiet while we ate; it was a little after 5pm on a Sunday. The waiter was attentive, and the chef seemed to be very detailed with their cuts and designs. 10/10 will be back.

Advertised as NEW Yamato with new menu. Items are mostly the same, but menu format is different. We started with the tempura sweet potatoes. So good! Tempura was perfectly done and the sauce served with it was delicious. I had chicken Hibachi. In the past the chicken was sometimes rubbery an flavorless. Today it was very tender, juicy and had enough spices and sauce. Our server was attentive and our food came out really quickly. Excellent meal!

Absolutely first class food, especially for a small town! Steak in the bento box was very tender and well flavored; slightly over cooked… server should have asked how we wanted it cooked. Great size tasty shrimp and a good portion of lo mein!

My husband and I just moved to the area and got excited about having a Yamato's nearby since we had a Yamato's where we lived before. After our eating experience, I'm guessing they aren't related like we thought they were. We ordered online and at at home.

Either way, we did the soba noodles instead of the rice and our noodles must not have been cooked all the way because they still had a slightly snappy chew to them. The sauce...i wasn't sure what it was exactly but it was lacking in my opinion. The salad...the dressing, of which I don't know what it consisted of ingredient wise, was very sweet and didn't really like covering the salad. Instead it preferred to stay in one glob. Not exactly what I'd expect of a salad dressing. Otherwise, the food was okay. The clear soup was honestly my favorite out of all the food we got which included 2 hibachi meals, a euphoria sushi roll, and...

Service here not going to lie wasn’t the worst I’ve had but very unprofessional. Table, floor and restroom dirty. Lack of attentiveness from both waiters and attitude, but coming from a place were if you give me that energy bet yo mama im giving it right back. Im sure the waiters communicate and talk about the customer because that was the vibe I got from this restaurant. The food was mediocre at best but nothing to be aww and wanting to go back for more. My wife took me for my birthday and for her I ate the food as appreciation and had to control my impulse from wanting to say something to the waiter with a smirk on his face every time he looked at our table. If you want good “Japanese” food. I recommend the...
