This restaurant is Top 5 in Omaha. The food is prepared fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious!!! The saddest part about it is that you could drive by it every day and see the Mexican market without realizing there is a bomb restaurant right inside.

If you live in or around Omaha, you need to show yourself some love and head down there. Right now. Stop reading and go. Order 2 tamales and 2 gorditas and chips with homemade salsa verde. WHY ARE YOU STILL READING?

If you are visiting Omaha, you should also go. I would put Maria's cooking against anyone from anywhere you have ever been.

Seriously. Go now. Those tamales aren't going to eat...

Fast service, amazing prices, and even better food! Highly recommend the birria tacos. The tortilla chips are also fresh fried and amazing with a tomatillo salsa. It’s unassuming, just a walk up counter in the back of a market with some folding tables, but it’s truly worth...
