To a T — Local services in Omaha

I have always been excited to visit this store, and while I had a friend in town I thought we’d check it out. When I walked into the store with my 20 month old child, and friend, the first thing the saleswoman said to us was, “You are brave.” We were very caught off guard and thought she meant that we were brave for facing the heat as it was 90°+ outside. However we quickly realized what she meant when she hovered over us, made several rude and snarky comments and said, “This is a ‘hands in pockets’ kind of store.” She frequently directed these comments toward my child who was clearly not a welcome presence, despite being in my arms for the entire visit. The employee went as far as rudely commenting / chuckling about not understanding when my child said “bye” to her. We felt judged and incredibly unwelcome throughout our 10 minute visit.
