First time here and it was very clear that they were short-staffed. We sat at the bar and had to ask the bartender, after 25 mins of having menus, to place our order. We got our food and then another 45 minutes goes by without any sort of acknowledgement from anyone. Our drinks sat empty for 45 mins!! No one would even make eye contact with me! Jesus christ, I get if you're busy but how hard is it to show some customer service by saying 'hey, we are incredibly busy right now but I'll be with you as soon as I can." Instead, no one literally even LOOKED at us for 45 mins. I was ready to just walk out and not pay for anything because they probably wouldn't have even noticed. Bar keep, after 45 mins, took our empty glasses and then after another 15 mins goes by... my mom asks if you're gonna replace the drinks that you just got rid of?? Like hellooooooo??!?! Have any of you worked in customer service before??? Not to mention the lady bartender looked like she hated the entire world that day.. how hard is it to smile? I have nothing good to say about this place except the food. Yall need a lesson in customer service. I have never been so upset at a bar/restaurant for their LACK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will NEVER be...
Read moreThis was my first time ever playing golf, and unfortunately, this course made sure it might be my last. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. The man in the clubhouse had an attitude right off the bat, and it only went downhill from there.
By the time we reached hole 5, he actually came out onto the course to confront our group—demanding that we "speed up" even though we were maintaining a reasonable pace for a group of four. It was clear we were being singled out, likely because we were a younger group and not regulars. Meanwhile, other groups around us—some actually moving slower—were left alone.
It’s frustrating that they’re overbooking tee times, then blaming players for the bottleneck they created. We went out to enjoy ourselves, and instead we were treated like we didn’t belong. For a first-time golfer, this experience completely soured the game for me. I genuinely have no desire to return—not just to this course, but possibly to golf altogether.
If you're new to the sport or just looking for a welcoming atmosphere,...
Read more"They don't pay me enough to care". At the turn the doors were locked.
The pro shop was closed mid-afternoon on Memorial weekend, a Saturday. There was no one seeing the golfers out, and my group was harassed at #1 (or #10 if you like because we were making the turn), even though their tee time was already 15 minutes past.
A note was posted which read "See bar for tee times, staffing shortage" on the pro shop door when we attempted to ask who we should follow as we made the turn. The college age attendant had been there only 2 hours earlier (a little after 1:00 PM) when we paid. He had made a glib remark to another customer "they don't pay me enough to care".
A quick note, in fairness to the bartender, he was pleasant and said we were all set for our second 9.
It's certainly possible that some kind of bad situation came up where the pro shop was unable to be staffed mid afternoon on a Saturday, but I will say that the overall appeal of the course has been lost for me. A lot of entitled, retired drunk guys always seem to be...
