Steve's Maytag Home Appliance Center — Local services in Opp

Steve has always seemed like a really nice guy. I've bought several appliances from him, over the years, as well as appliance parts. Everybody knows that if you need a part for a washer or dryer to go see Steve. Well, apparently that's changed now... I was just informed, by Steve, that "if it's over a year old" he "ain't touching it." When I explained that I only needed a part and not a repair he said "I don't carry Whirlpool." I then explained to Steve that the part was universal for Whirlpool, MAYTAG and several other brands he laughed and said "you just need to order it online." I get it Steve. The economy has been a little rough for everyone over the past four years. I'm sure you need to move some new units so I did just what you recommended. I ordered my parts from Amazon and, instead of supporting local business, that's what I'll do from now on. Oh yeah, and the next time I buy new I'll do that...
