Mountain Medicine — Local services in Oroville

Don’t go to Mountain Medicine the drive to Marysville’s Wild Seed Wellness has a better selection and they will actually believe you and exchange your vape cartridges with excellent customer service.

Been going to Mountain Medicine for ages and never had a problem till today. I bought a vape cartridge and when I got it home it wouldn’t work. I tried two different vape chargers and other cartridges that I got from mountain medicine to see if they would work which they did except the one I just bough. I went back to Mountian medicine with original packaging AND the receipt so I could exchange it for another cartridge. They put it on their tester and told me “sorry it’s drawing power we can’t exchange it.” I said that’s not working though I’ve tried two different batteries. I even offered to buy another battery to them to show them it wasn’t working. “oh sorry we are out of batteries but it says it’s drawing battery.”

THEN they tell me to take their reader outside and drive away and test it but just not on their property. So you want me to get in my car and illegally smoke and drive to test a cartridge instead of letting me exchange it? I said no thanks.

Went back to my car and came in with my charger to show them it’s not working and the GM said “No sorry not giving you a new cartridge.” I was appalled.

I’ve NEVER had a dispensary try to gaslight me while at the same time ripping me off.

Please don’t go to Mountain Medicine and if you do stay away from...

Great prices and mostly friendly staff. Unfortunately they will not honor their return policy though 😖 I had a cartridge I had gotten from them the day prior and it had leaked ALL OVER. To the point where I had to wrap it in their receipt to try and contain the mess. I brought it in to show them and ask to exchange it for another properly working cartridge. The female with attitude (owner?) proceeded to tell me that they would only take it back if it had more in it.... but I was there because it had leaked everywhere...which was clearly very visible. I left unhappy and upset, no exchange, no refund, for a bunk cart that they sold me the day prior.. Besides being shady with their return policy on their faulty items they sell you, it's a great little place to find...

Im giving a 1 star review. At first i loved having this dispensary in town. Super convenient right? We i thought so too. The last 10 or so times i have gone have been so disappointing. The product (flower) was extremely over priced for the quality i received. I bought a top shelf eighth for $65.00 (Black cherry soda) i was told it was sweet and gassy (untrue in both cases) what i received in my jar was so dry it crumpled into dust upon examination. It was dark, it smelled dusty and of grass almost. Id love to give this a great review it being local and all but i cannot. I went to another club in Marysville and for half the price i was happy again with WHAT I EXPECTED OF TOP SHELF FLOWER. I will probably cash out my points and never return. 1/10...
