DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered a hatchet. Waited 7 days for my payment to be reversed. I received absolutely zero correspondence when this happened. I was just left to guess at what was going on with my order. The customer service rep said they never took the money out of my account, however the funds were not available to me during this 7 day period.

I called and asked what was going on. The rep sounded very confused as to why my order was not shipped and promptly canceled. She told me, "the item may have been out of stock at the time of your ordering." It was not. Item clearly said IN STOCK. I wouldn't have ordered a tool I needed if your company did not have it.

I asked to have this shipped overnight as It has been collecting dust in your store for a week. This request was denied. I was told, "Well, you selected the 5-7 day shipping option." That would have been great, had the item actually shipped. However, I don't like paying to have an item sit on your shelf. 5-7 day shipping is just that, SHIPPING, not PROCESSING.

I had to cancel the order as I cannot accept another long week long wait with no compensation, especially when many other retailers are offering free shipping, and when I need the tool. (Hence why I ordered it.)

I paid for shipping once and it did not ship. You couldn't correct your mistake by making sure I get my item within the proper shipping period? That's insane to me.

A reversal on my credit card without so much as an email stating what has happened, while refusing to correct the mistake is inexcusable. My case may be rare for this company, but I have never in my life witnessed a business unwilling to make up for...

Was here a long long time ago when the Amish bought supplies from here.

Stopped by last week. I was so disappointed. It's been reduced to a tourist trap. I don't think any Amish buy anything from there anymore. We settled on an oil lamp, their "Best Seller" (made in china), the Aladdin oil (Made in the USA) to go with it and a bag of beef Jerky hickory smoked (get this - made in Iowa of all places!) Apparently no one in Amish Country makes beef jerky? And when we light the oil lamp it's like a torch, high flame and black smoke rolling up the chimney no matter how low we turned the wick down, after several attempts - it's now just a decoration. The beef jerky was fantastic but extremely expensive ($20.99 for a 10 oz bag) our total for 3 items was $55.05 and can't use the lamp.

My take is they should've stayed the small hardware store they started out as. It's too big and commercialized now and EVERYTHING is outrageously priced. We "were" actually looking for the Amish style clothes drying racks, but talk about cheaply made yet insanely expensive!

What a Amazingly unique store. There is something here for everyone no matter what your interest are. This store is like the movie " Back to the Future" It will take you back in time with nostalgia items and into the future with the items of today's modern times. If you like the unusual items or those that are hard to find then you need to spend a few hours here. The store is well managed to ensure you will have the shopping experience of a lifetime. It is well stocked, neet/organized and very clean. So what else could you want???? Yes that too, a great atmosphere with friendly service. My fellow travelers put this on your list of must things to see. While there if you get a chance speek to the General Manager Stephen a super nice guy who works hard to provide you a unique store experience you will never find anywhere else. Ok travelers be safe on the highways and enjoy the one of a kind destinations...
