This experience was what my wife went through. left Verizon 5 years back because it's a horrible company. My wife has been with Verizon for 15 years and it just keeps getting worse. I know that this is an authorized dealer and not an actual Verizon store. We preordered the Galaxy s10 plus which prices at around $1100, that was our choice I understand that. Why I'm writing this review ibecause they made up there own fees and didnt bother to tell us about them until after. These fees are for anything the retailer does to your phone. If they take the phone from the book and turn it on its 9.99 !!! Its sounds ridiculous right??? Well the girl that was working with my wife literally opened the box and transferred the phone numbers( activation of new phone) She then handed the phone back fo my wife and had her sign into her accounts so it could transfer files. At this point she was notified she owed 40 dollar for the "activation or set up " fee. It's the simple most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I decided to go in later that day to figure out why she was charged. They said it was a setup fee at the moment he gave me a piece of paper that was not present for anyone to see. The paper had a bunch of tiers of set up ranging from 9.99 to the white glove treatment at 60.00 !! This is basically stealing, this has always been free when buying a phone, the set up that is. If 1100$ wasnt enough go ahead and secretly add on another 40. Its infuriating. Let's. Not mention the girl who was helping us was extremely rude and not personable at all. She was complaining about not eating her lunch the whole time. If you do go in here tell them immediately not to open your new phone because if they do it's a charge for...
Read moreI am a very long time customer of Verizon. I love the plans, options, phones... not all stores are alike in their customer service dealings. The belfast Maine store for ex is phenomenal and goes above and beyond for my mother when she needs help. The low stars review here is for the customer service I received at the store in Ossipee nh. She was with another customer and was chatting with us while waiting for their devices to finish. Asking us our problems, what we were liking for. We were asking about the upgrades, backup transfers, which phones were worth it, our plans. Many times during our conversion we got the "well ya" response with the tone to go with it making us feel like that was a stupid question to ask. My husband is not tech savvy. They were legit questions for which she made us feel silly for asking. I asked a question and did not receive an answer I thought had anything to do with the question and tried to ask another way and her response was "I already told you the answer!" I apologized and said I misunderstood and she took on the condescending attitude towards me for not getting it. After about 10 minutes of the way she was responding and her approach to answering customers questions we excused ourselves and left. I'm leaving this review as a way to make other customers aware but also to hold her accountable to working on her customer service personality. We will be going to another...
Read moreMy 91 year old Mom finally admitted that she needs a cell phone that works consistently, not "just for emergencies." She is a proud avoider of technology, but recognizes that she needs more than just a landline for communication at this point. She and I came into the Ossipee store on Sunday, and Steve was sooooo helpful! He was patient with her vision and hearing limitations, and spent over 2 hours with us. Steve let my Mom take her time to figure out which type of phone would be easiest for her to learn how to use, and what model would be easiest for her to see and hear. He let my Mom think things over, answered all of her questions, and didn't rush her. While she is still getting the hang of her new iPhone, she is very pleased with the choice that she made and is happy to have a reliable phone that she can use whenever and wherever she needs to. Thank you so much to Steve for his time, patience and thoughtful...
