Wedgewood Manor Active Senior Living — Local services in Oswego Township

My parents live in this wonderful senior apartment community, and I truly can’t say enough good things about it. The building is always quiet, clean, and beautifully maintained. There’s a real family-like atmosphere here, everyone is so welcoming, and my parents feel at home. One of the things I love most is that residents can choose exactly how social they want to be. There are activities and events to help people get to know one another, but if someone prefers to enjoy the peace and comfort of their own apartment, that’s perfectly fine too. A special shout-out to Jackie, who is absolutely fabulous. She goes above and beyond to keep the seniors engaged, connected, and feeling valued. Her warmth and friendliness make such a difference, and we are so grateful for her. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I’m so thankful we found it....

Don't have any pics...great place for seniors to live...very secure and clean and maintained...decorated so nice and very homey...always smells so good in there...like furniture polish and candles....my mom has a very nice apartment and there is always stuff going on for seniors. They also have common areas downstairs for anyone to use...they have a kitchen in one area and there is also a rest room on the same floor by the office...mailboxes are in the front entry and there are some garages for residents to rent but not sure of...

Needs updated equipment. All the AC units are ancient and there's one outside of every window which is noisy. They don't allow pets anymore. The staff is only friendly to the super old and frail people, if you still have some wits about you you'll probably be annoyed by your interactions with the office. Location isn't that great and community doesn't offer much to keep you...
