Same experience as another reviewer here- a discrepancy with the specs of an item on their website, caused me to order the wrong motor. After receiving the motor and realizing it was incorrect I called the company to discuss a return. I paid to ship the motor back, and ordered the new motor. The original transaction was $170, I was only refunded $109 due to their restocking fee. On top of this, I had to order and ship the new motor, ultimately a $99 motor cost over $200 because of a discrepancy on their website, and when informed of this they said "oh, sorry" with no inclination towards fixing the problem on their website. Not someone who stands behind their services as seen by the other review with this same exact problem. I suggest ordering through amazon if you need an electric motor, where if it's incorrect you won't spend $100 on the process of...
Read moreMy experience with CSH Electric Motor Repair could not be better. The 20 hp motor on one of my main machines died. Fried the windings. Sent the motor to CSH where they confirmed the damage. Could be rewound but not cost effective. Online shopping showed imported replacement motors weighing 160# from $1,200-$2,100. American made replacements were a little more. I explained to Dan that I refuse to buy imported items unless American made products are unavailable. He had, (in stock), an American made Marathon 20 hp, correct size, cast iron frame, copper wound, 374# new in box motor for $800. Absolutely what I wanted for far less than I thought I would spend. CSH will be first call whenever I have electric motor issues! If I could give more than 5...
Read moreIf I could give more than 5 stars I would. My furnace blower motor died. There were no parts available in NE Indiana but I happened to be working in Lansing, MI and they had one available. Even though I couldn't get there before they closed, the awesome woman working the phones for the online service made some calls and I was able to get what I needed after hours. I made it back home (3 houpr drive) and had the furnace back up and running that night. Above and...
