I highly recommend the Domain to anyone interested in staying somewhere that takes the initiative of making sure your experience is the best! They’re always hosting events for residents and the staff is thoughtful. I participated in their most recent pageant and had a lot of fun. They were helpful as well as the girls that I participated with! The event itself was well put together and it was overall a great experience. Will be doing it again!

I participated in the Miss Domain at Oxford pageant this year! It was an AMAZING experience. The staff was so helpful and it was just overall a great time. Loved doing it with all the girls and meeting new people. I highly recommend the Domain!

I am not one to complain but this issue needs to be brought to people's attention. The Domain at Oxford is a mostly student apartment community. Students are not always perfect and will make mistake and learn from them. For the past 1 and half I have been pleased with how these have been handled however this most recent issue needs some awareness.

Be sure to let your renter and their visitors know if they perhaps park in a spot that is marked reserved (even though not visible at night) they will be towed at a tune of $240.75.

My son had friends over this past weekend. A friend parked in a reserved spot not realizing it was reserved. Domain has been sending out Twitter, Instagram notices before towing but not this past weekend. They said it must have been after hours.

Domain complex (Amy, the property manager) claims this is out of their control - they do not control the prices, but Amy (property manager) did finally say they do control who is called for towing.

The Domain needs to do a better job of marking those reserved spots, so they are noticeable at night.

If they are going to tow a car that is parked in a reserved spot (and I completely get the reserved spot and right to tow, my son did have reserved parking last year), they need to repainted those reserved markings in the spots with fresh paint and something that is reflective

  1. they need to return calls promptly. I left a message with the front desk yesterday morning (11.06.18) at 930am and was told the person I needed to speak with was on the phone and would call me back.

Today, (11.07.18) at 4:45 pm, I had to call again, and Hunter answered the phone. Hunter said well I am not that person, but I can help you. Hunter was not helpful. When I pressed to talk with the person in charge of parking, he finally sent me to the property manager, Amy, who was not helpful. Amy said how would you feel if you son had a reserved spot and someone was parked in it, you would want it towed. I promptly told her that he would have parked elsewhere and then called the office not demanding someone be towed. My son did actually have a reserved spot last year, the Domain said that particular spot would not longer be a reserved spot but they have yet to make it not reserved.

Amy asked did ask what I wanted her to do so I stated the spots need to be remarked and it would be nice if they offered her a gift card for half of the fee to which she told me she could not do either.

Pictures of the spot just showing how well that reserved signs show up at night.

I have for the last two years promoted the Domain as a great place to live...I can no longer do that. Their management teams need a crash course in empathy and...

Highly would NOT recommend staying here. This is my second year residing in the domain, and it has only gotten worse. My first year here, I lived in building one which was right by the office so staff takes good care of the the building and landscaping. However, this school year I moved to the back (building 8) and it has been a disaster. In my previous building, I paid for a reserved parking spot that others were allowed to park in without penalties. In the back, there are no lights and it’s honestly just sketchy. The gate is almost always broken, defeating its purpose. The roommate matching is terrible. I had a roommate that was clearly matched solely based on skin color because she wasn’t even in school. She also had her brother living in our unit free of charge, and the Domain did nothing to resolve this issue. Maintenance does what they can to help, but management has them scared to speak without first consulting with them, even when they are obviously in the wrong. Most times they send maintenance to do jobs they aren’t proficient at. My roommate and I have paid $100 each per month for electricity as well. They ā€œestimateā€ your monthly bill. Since I’ve lived in building 8, I’ve had a ceiling leak, kitchen sink leak, and RODENTS. The Domain has chosen to take this issue very lightly. After speaking with a staff member he mentioned that he himself had already seen the mice on the property and that they usually didn’t enter units. I spoke with the pest control guy, and he showed me where the mice were entering behind the stove. He also mentioned that he had offered a resolution, but management declined. Do yourself a favor, and stay ANYWHERE else. Domain is money hungry and does not care about students. No need in calling corporate, because they simply do not respond. I know it looks nice from the outside, but looks can...

The domain at Oxford is not the place you should live unless there’s nowhere else to go. Starting with move-in: I was going to be at sorority recruitment during the move-in time, so I called and asked if my roommate could pick up my key for me and they said yes. They then personally texted me a manager’s email address that I could send an email to giving consent for my roommate to pick up my key. I sent the manager an email with my consent and I thought all was well. On move-in day, my roommate asked to pick up my key as well and the staff said they had no idea what she was talking about and did not give her my key. Then, when I DID move in, I stepped in hot dog poop on day one. There is dog poop EVERYWHERE and it is never picked up. There was puke in my hallway and a massive black splatter that was there all year. They moved a random girl into our apartment halfway through the lease and never once notified us that we would be getting a new roommate. We had a roach problem and we were finding like 3 roaches per day. Kiki at the Domain told us that riches were ā€œjust part of living on the first floorā€ when we alerted them of this problem. They have a trash valet service, which is nice, except they only come get your trash when they please. They have to come into your unit to take your trash as well, and they will fine all roommates if one of them puts trash in the hallway. Once, they simply walked up to my unit, unlocked the door, and then did not come in to get our trash. They just walked away. It was so weird, and they left my front door unlocked which was very dangerous. The fire alarm’s constantly went off as well. I will say, I enjoyed the gym and the tanning bed and the pool. Other than the ammenities, I would not recommend...
