Great Clips — Local services in Oxford

I checked in online 1 week before Christmas. Although I was later then intended I was still taken in when I got there. I called & spoke to Jen first as I have mobility & other issues and she was wonderful & extremely accommodating . She came out to help me get my walker out of my car and helped me in the shop as well. My hair was so long from not being able to get it cut or washed as I’ve been ill & Jen helped me with all of it. What a truly kind, generous human being. Not one complaint and also Jack (hairdresser who has also cut my hair in the past) came in at the last Minute to help out as well. Horrible

This is the worst Great Clips experience ever. The first time I went with my kids. The lady who was there might have been the owner, she basically told me that i did not know how to take care of my children's hair and then tried to pressure me into buying their hair products. The second time I went alone and was told aftwe i got my hair cut that they would not accept my coupon a coupon that I've had accepted all over the state. When i tried to ask for the owners number i was made to wait while they "looked" for it, then brought it out on a printed card. They told me she does not like people to have it. Wanted a trim (an inch) and bangs. My hair doesn’t grow fast, it took me a year to get it longer and thicker, now it’s wrecked. Wanted a few strands of face framing hair next to my bangs so they would hang when I put it up. The sides of my hair are now 5 inches shorter than the back, in huge clumps, not a couple strands. Overall, its significantly shorter than I asked for. The only thing I can do is wear it up, with the help of 4+ Bobby pins - which I will have to do for a few months. This is a cheap hair cut, but I didn’t understand how bad the quality would be for the price.
