Send this to the person you’d love to roadtrip Arizona with! 🏜️ The Ultimate Arizona Roadtrip 💥 1,000 miles / 18 hours of driving 🗓️ Recommend 10-14 days 📍Start your trip in Phoenix, AZ and review the leave no trace principles before embarking on your trip 📍 Lost Dutchman State Park This State park sits at the foot of the Superstition Mountains and is a sight to see when sunset lights the mountain a golden red 📍Saguaro Lake or Bartlett Lake Both of these lakes feature saguaro cacti and dramatic cliffs near the water. If it’s early spring I’d recommend Bartlett lake for the wildflowers otherwise Saguaro Lake is a shorter drive. 📍Sedona, AZ Known best for its red rocks Sedona is a must do on any southwest Roadtrip. For Sedona inspo check out my page for more details on specific hikes 📍Wupatki National Monument Located a few minutes north of Flagstaff is this 900 year old ancestral Puebloan site with over 100 rooms 📍 Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Check out monument valley scenic drive inside the park as well as the infamous Forrest Gump point outside the park! 📍Antelope Canyon You can’t miss the most beautiful sandstone slot canyon in the US! 📍Horseshoe Bend A must for sunset while in Page, AZ 📍Lone Rock at Lake Powell Perfect during the warmer months, go for a swim at lone rock. But be wary of driving on the sand and don’t get your vehicle stuck! Even better rent a kayak or jet ski to Antelope Canyon 📍Grand canyon National Park One of the seven wonders of the world, this 📍End your trip back in Phoenix, AZ Videos taken by @kaitandbeyond

📍Lone Rock, Lake Powell⁣ Google Maps shows the rock in water but currently there is no water. 😬 It’s a popular campground in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Still an impressive place to visit for a day or to camp out. 😍 . . . #lonerock #explorearizona #navajoland #girlswhohike #bucketlistplaces #arizonaisgorgeous #placestovisit #hikersofinstagram #exploringarizona #lakepowell #pageaz

June 2023- The water level is back up and Lone rock is surrounded by water again but it is still low. There are many people who get stuck in the sand but if you just look at the roads from the parking lot you can see that there are a few roads that have gravel (gray color) and you can drive on those roads till the gravel ends and just park, those who hv a regular vehicle. DO NOT go on dirt roads or near the beach unless you inspect the sand and have 4x4 and KNOW how to drive 4x4. We had a wonderful day swimming at the beach! Glad we went, we weren’t sure if we could go swimming or if there was a beach to swim at.

First things first, I didn't even want to go there. My friends and I were in our hotel room, it had stopped to rain and one friend suggested to go to Lone Rock. Another friend immediately said no, as he saw pictures of it and knew it was just a damn rock. And everyone who had been in Page, or the western US in general knows that there are lots of rocks there. So, we argued about going to this rock for a solid hour, but alas, we gave up so we went there. On the way there, we saw about ten other rocks that could have qualified as a Lone Rock, and they definitely would do the name more justice. About 5 minutes before we arrived, we could see the rock, and we collectively started to laugh at its misery. Once we got there, it got even worse. To sum it up, it's a rock in the middle of Lake Powell. Yes, that's what the name implies, and yes, it's pretty big. But it is still just an unoriginal rock that has no right to be designated as a natural monument. It's a boring rock that doesn't look anything different from the countless other rocks in the area. It's the most ridiculous thing I've encountered on my USA trip, and I'll say that confidently when I still have 2 more weeks to go. By the way, did I mention you gotta pay 30 dollars to...
