Dollar General — Local services in Paintsville

Store seems way too small for amount of merchandise they have, which isn't the workers fault, it is upper management. They have everything a typical dollar store has. Wait times in line to pay are ridiculously long on busy days, due to not having enough workers working each day. Many days there will be only one person working, and they have to go back and forth from the register to stocking items, which again, is upper managements fault. They can't get and keep workers because they refuse to pay a dime over...

Dollar General on Blacklog is a wonderful store. They've recently remodeled and now have fresh produce and lots of other goodies, including a self-checkout. The staff there are super friendly and helpful. I stopped in today (on Christmas Eve) and the store was extremely crowded and the staff were handling it beautifully. The check out lines were long and they managed to get through the line of customers quickly while staying friendly and professional. I love this store and definitely recommend it...

Love Dollar General, but the only items I buy there are on digital coupons and milk. Otherwise, it has become more expensive than Walmart and they know we don't have...
