Dollar General — Local services in Palestine

They're never open. Last time I went they were closed at 3pm on a Saturday, there were people in the store working, but the store was closed with a sign that said delivery trucks welcome. That was not the only time that happened, they randomly close the store regardless of posted store hours. Finally went back today and find they also have posted prices they don't honor. They have 20 dollars on the propane tanks, but it rings up 22. When brought to their attention the response was, well they are 22 dollars. That was it. This is the worst dollar general on this side...

There’s an older big boned blonde woman with reading glasses (May be the manager) who knows. But everytime I go to this location, she’s never seen doing anything around the store. But when it comes to ringing people up the attitude that ensues is horrendous. She huffs and puffs and rolls her eyes as if she’s not getting paid to stand there and scan items. I mean it’s ridiculous. One night, maybe. But every single visit? And this lady is still salty? She needs to be fired....

I absolutely love this store and everyone in it. They are all so helpful and pleasant. When you walk in they say hello are more than happy to help you find something. I can’t say enough good things about this store and the people that work there. Always a delight...
