This is a nice little Asian/Filipino store. It has many of the Filipino staples and some items that are harder to find at other Asian stores locally. Some items did not have expiration dates. So if that’s something you’re concerned about, maybe keep an eye on that. Also, each time I’ve gone, I haven’t had very good experiences with the gentleman tending to the store. I feel like I’ve steered clear because he tended to upsell so heavily that I wasn’t comfortably able to shop in peace. I decided to give it another go recently. This time he cut me off mid sentence inquiring for an item not in the freezer as pictured towards the back of the store. It was in a separate freezer in the office. Read moreI am editing/rewriting my original review, bumping up the rating. I was bothered when I showed up an hour before the posted closing time on their door and found the place closed. I am taking a star away for that. When I was able to get in, I did find what I was seeking. The place is small, so you may not be as lucky, but it is still worth a visit. The owner is very helpful and will practically dash away from you to go retrieve anything you ask about, if they have it. I also love getting fresh produce such as the baby bok choy and Japanese eggplant. I tried the kimchi for the first time from here and it was delicious.
