I have no idea where these reviews are coming from- my guess is friends and family. I took my vehicle in to have them find out why its over heating bevauae i dont have time to do it myself. I told them i already know about the 2 sensor throwing a codes and was only curious about the cost of them switching 1 out and i would handle the rest. I pointed out 1 coolant hose that was leaking that i noticed and asked if he could check the rest out to make sure it didnt have more. I told him the goal is to get the vehicle ready to pass smog test. He said he will diagnose the vehicle and let me know. So i aporoved the costs for diagosis which consisted of a pressure test - told me i wouls need a new heater core which is %$##! Because if worked just fine when i brougjt it in .he gave me the option to bypass it and i said go ahead- and just thought i will replace the chose later just want the thing ready for smog. He then tells me the sensors i told him earlier that i would fix are bad after taking a deeper dive which means he put a multumeter on an the sensor and got the readout- very simple proceedure and if i had the time to find out in the manual i woukd have easily do ut myself. Long story short here is the breakdown of his cost for pressure test -his so called diagnosis with a deep dive. Pressurd test 190.00 Diagnosis- 150.00( obd2 reader hook up and pushed 2 buttons to get read out something i did already and told him about) scam! Deeper dive on diagnosis 150 for each sensor that i already knew were bad- and all it was is that he put a multi meter on two contact points and read the meters) gave me rediculously high estimates on replacing them over $2000.00 and another $1600.00 to replace the heater core. I chose this guy because of the reviews i read but after paying$ 600.00 dollars for changing a hose i pointed out to hin that leaked is a rip off. I switched out crankshaft position sensor myself for 30 bucks. He never botherd ro do what i asked hin to do which is findout why its over heating and get it ready for smog test. And the worse part about this is the guy replaced the hose that comes from the radiator and would have to drain the fluid( which all i had in it was water and he knows that and knows that it shouldnt be in there and only done for emergencies and that anti freeze should be in vehicle only- well guess whar- it still had nothing but watee in it afterwards and it was low. I guess spending the extra $ 6.00 on anti freeze and actually doing something useful just wasnt in his budget. I guess he needed my money to add to overflow of hallowween decor...

Great place with wonderful staff and very fair prices. They did a great job installing my running boards on my truck and were accommodating with my schedule. I full time RV and don't live in the area, so the only bummer was there's not a waiting room and even with Covid not a dedicated place to hang out outside and work from a laptop or read while they worked on my truck. So $60 later roundtrip in Uber charges I dropped off the truck and pick it up when ready. Most folks will likely be locals and this won't be an issue, but something to consider if you don't have someone who can drop you off/pick you up. I would recommend Victor's, they do good work at a good price and are very nice people. If I needed another service I would take my truck...

Firstly, I am a real review. I had my vehicle repaired here.

I highly recommend Victors for a few reasons, but mostly for their honesty. I had some major repairs done to my vehicle relating to the cooling system and head gasket. Other shops never took the time to accurately diagnose my problem. Brenda and Victor explained things simply and accurately with no surprises. I have an older vehicle but chose to invest in some major repairs after speaking with Victor.
