Yankee Flea Market — Local services in Palmer

Be advised before you go that this is mostly FLEA MARKET goods and not an antique shop. You will find lots of DVD, CD, VHS, music tapes, books, collectibles, Hot Wheels, used toys, dishwares, comic books, crafts, and junk. You will not find quality antiques. Some booths were so crowded you couldn't get into them without knocking things over or breaking something. I think some of the vendors need to rethink their space and display more efficiently or get a double booth. I did find some CD's and my spouse found a couple useful items. So crowded with people and their shopping carts in the aisles that I had to completely skip areas and figure out where I left off. They do have a bathroom on premises. This place has alot of stuff. Prepare to spend a good few hours looking thru everything. There bound to be treasures to be found. The reason for my one star isn't the vendor themselves but how i was treated when I called up and told them about the jar that was full of garbage broken jewelry, needles. My girlfriend did poke herself and bleed. Granted it was a jar taped up that said "Jewelry 20.00" and they do have a policy of No returns or exchanges ... and i respect that. However, situation like this should be looked at more closely. Will my girlfriend have to get a tetanus shot? Were not the complaining type, and my GF told me to let it go. I dont care about the 20.00 or even the jar of junk. What i do care about is that in this situation. It shouldnt of been "this is our policy , we don't control the vendors." Not even an apology.
