USPS Atlanta RPDC — Local services in Palmetto

This place HERE 😭😭.. My package was shipped out from Memphis TN on April 9,2024 My package went through their Facility process Annex and it arrived here in USPS ATLANTA RPDC on April 11,2024 and it sat there a whole day in a half and remind you my delivery date was Friday April 12,2024 .. So it left out Friday April 12, late afternoon from USPS ATLANTA RPDC and I was informed in texted message that it was on its way to the destination.. I received a update Saturday April 13,2024 that my package has arrived at its destination in BROOKLYN NY USPS 😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Make it make sense!! I know my address clearly reads that I'm in GA not New York... I don't know if it's ROBOTS working and they can't read?? Or just humans working just for only a paycheck and not caring for the job and just shipping packages out without reading or scanning the label's... Now it's a waiting game all over again 😡 I understand this place just opened up but we can clearly see its not organized at all. So I guess from packages and mail we are definitely doom. I pray once my package returns back to Ga that it's processed from another facility cause if it returns here it's going to be a long time 😭 Please...

I have been waiting on an important part for my business sent from Colorado 9 days ago. The part in question is a vitale replacement part to assist 100's of Customers on weekly basis. Our package has been at USPS Distribution Center in Palmetto, GA for over 4 days, when it made it half way across the US in 3 days.

If our Mail Stream is not working effectively, what is the plan to fix the many internal issues???? Someone should be accountable such as GA Post Master to evaluate cause & effects with action plans one would think, right?

After all, WE taxpayers pay for a USPS Service. And now appears without regard to contractually and effectively providing or rendering a service paid for with US Funds.

Our package is question was sent via USPS Registered Mail with a required signature, so we now play a sit and wait game. Costing our business daily from lost revenue, quality and business integrity.

I live in Ellijay in the mountains and have had live fruit trees stuck at the Palmetto facility for more than three weeks. No doubt they are completely dead by now. The frustration is that I won't be able to have these plants replaced until next year. That's an entire year lost in our apple orchard. I realize this pales in comparison to the troubles of people who have not received paychecks, social security checks, medicines and cremated remains. I just wanted to share that it's affecting customers statewide. The loss claims will be staggering and USPS communications have been non-existent. I filed missing mail claims but there has been no response to those and I know why. Trucks are backed up around the building with unprocessed mail and the backlog must be staggering. I feel for the hard-working postal workers at the center of this logistical nightmare. USPS has utterly failed in the closing of it's existing regional distribution center and consolidation...
