The show room is impressive and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We buy Lazy Boy brand thinking it is the best. A couple months ago we bought two more lazy boys (our 5th&6th). I chose a light linen color fabric because I’m buying the color protection and it was beautiful. They are pretty but the quality is horrible. From the back of the chair where the arm and back meet you can see where the fabric has been stapled. You can slightly see through the material when the sun is shining. They are also much lighter weight than the ones in the past. I’m constantly sliding it back where it belongs. The headrest is not near as comfortable as I’ve had in the past. Overall this purchase is a huge disappointment and will be the last lazy boy I own. After eight months I had issues with the fabric not holding up. I contacted the store and the La-Z-Boy service center and they were amazing. They are letting me keep the old chairs until the new replacement chairs arrive. We even ASKED for help and was told he "was to busy" and would get to us in a minute. 20 minutes later we were still not helped. We left unhappy, unsatisfied, and without a new mattress set that we came in to buy. We were also looking at a couch but I promise you we won't be making that purchase now either. We drove from out of town to make this purchase but after the rude and unhelpful service we got, we left empty handed. We will not be going back and I will never spend a dime there, I will gladly spend a few extra bucks at Wrights furniture or even Big Lots in Hannibal, where I know that I am going to get the service I deserve. Read moreI purchased a recliner in April 2024 and had to have the chair re-stuffed in July 2024 due to padding shifting and flattening. By September 2024 the padding was again shifting, flattening and now is uncomfortable in the back. The furniture store refused to replace the chair but offered to continue to restuff the chair until the one year warranty is up then La-z-boy will pay for ongoing padding and I can pay for pick up, delivery and labor to do so. What a great deal for a $700 chair. After 30 years of purchasing La-z-boy furniture I have never experienced such poor workmanship and ever worse customer service. I...
