Maple Lake — Local services in Palos Township

We went fishing there and spent the day it was a gorgeous day so there was plenty of families there but everybody kept their distance and let everybody have their space. They have tables there they also have kayaking paddle boarding canoeing. They have porta potties that were clean. I don't have one bad thing to say about my experience I've been coming to Maple Lake since I was a small child and I have nothing but good memories and good experiences.. P.s. we did catch and release no animals...

Maple view lake has a phenomenal view of the water! Their parking lot isn't huge it holds maybe 20 cars but I never really had a problem parking here. They have a very nice hiking trail and plenty of places to cast your line and fish. With this review I left a picture of what fish are in this lake how many you're legally could take out and all the rules and regulations that apply. This place is perfect for any thing fishing taken a walk just sitting and relaxing watching the water ....

About a few years ago Maple lake was a golden nugget for Bass fishing and even Pike, now it's filled with Bucket fisherman trying to take undersized fish and casting out 3 or more rods per.

Went on a sunday and boat rental was unavailable because "everyone" had covid. The crazy part is that there were people on personal paddleboats and kayaks out in the water even though it's stated no personal watercraft on Lake.
