First time being here after its "remodel". Not the best place to go. Almost no seating and heavily over priced. $25 sounds good for an unlimited bracelet for everything except bowling but... Most of the arcade games were out of order and unable to be played. The laser tag there is terrible, its ran by workers that don't seem to care, are not nice to the younger kids that come to play because they are pretty much kids themselves, and most of the equipment doesn't even work. Halfway through the 12 minute, $7, session almost all the guns and vests either reset or stopped working. And there is nobody actually supervising inside and kids are hurting other kids. The bowling alley portion isn't worth it either. $30 per hour for a lane, which doesn't include shoes of course, and they don't even bother to tell you the time starts as soon as you pay, instead of after you get your shoes, get it set up, and actually start your game. Once the time is up, it won't let you finish your match and they wouldn't even at least give us the opportunity to pay for extra time to finish. This really upset the kids. Those behind the bowling counter were extremely rude and condescending when we asked about it because we thought $30 per hour for a lane meant an actual hour of game play. When the kids tried to cash in their tickets for prizes they couldn't because their computers were down. The skating is decent but it appears people just drop their kids off and disappear so there were unsupervised kids everywhere. There were several instances where we saw unsupervised kids climbing into games and approaching tables and belongings that were not theirs. Makes you feel unsafe and not want to leave anything at a table. You can't just slap some new carpet and paint on something and say it's new and improved. It is not a place I'm eager to return and wouldn't really recommend to others especially big groups. Side note for parties since I've had family members try to schedule parties there before. When you schedule and pay for a "party" it's not like you get a special room to yourself when you schedule. You are out in the open around everyone else. Paoli is not a wealthy area and they could provide better party options for those that might have to plan a last minute party or something. I've had family try to schedule a party before and it was difficult and expensive. And they are keeping a whole room completely empty on the chance you have a party when there is inadequate seating in the rest of the building. They had the chance to make private rooms to rent out for parties when they remodeled but instead made one big room which is chaotic and overwhelming. The rudeness from most of the employees was just so extremely uncalled for (not all of them because there were a couple of employees that were very nice and helpful). Maybe consider a food pass so those that need to do a last minute party could bring in outside food and drink (cake and a few two liters) instead of having to do a complete party setup when it isn't needed. Also if you don't have enough staff or staff that isn't correctly trained to be able to properly manage multiple areas of the building then you should make those changes and not take it out on...
Read moreI believe one star is too much for the crappy service a friend and I got tonight. My friend and I decided to play some pool. The pool balls were out, and so were the sticks, so we assumed it was free. Right after our first game, an employee walked over to us and asked us if we paid. Confused, we asked how much? He told us it was $6 per hour. My friend paid, but it doesn't seem right since there were no signs proving that it was $6 per hour. Bummed out, we decided to put money on one of their new cards and play some arcade games. After just a couple games, a girl employee came over and turned off the arcade games. This was at 10:44pm. I asked her why she was turning them off since they were supposed to close at midnight tonight according to their website. She didn't even look at me. So, ticked off about putting a large sum of money on a card for games and not being properly informed about playing pool before we started playing, we left. While thinking all of it over and feeling ripped off, we called and asked for a manager. Emily was this so called manager, and she told us that the pool sticks were not brought back to the proper place. We suggested them making sure they are properly taken care of and a formal sign stating the prices of playing pool instead of letting people believe it's free. Then we asked how late they were open. They kept saying that they were closing. Whenever we stated that their website says that they are open until midnight, and if they do close at 11pm, they need to update their website. THIS SO CALLED MANAGER SAID "Whatever, bye!!" VERY RUDELY AND HUNG UP THE PHONE!!! Now I REALLY suggest they update their website, and also change the part where it says "We guarantee customer satisfaction"!!! We are NEVER going back again, until we at LEAST get our money back and a VERY...
Read moreWe drove 25 minutes to take our 4 year old bowling. We checked their website before going to see if they were open. The outside of the building made it seem like they were closed down. We found the entrance, and there was a sign that said there were no lanes available because of a woman's league but "lots of other fun activities". We went to the counter to see if we could play one game, as the entire building was empty, and all lanes were free. We were told no by an extremely rude employee. The whole place was filthy. The other employees were playing on their phones. All of the other "fun activities" were closed or covered in trash bags. My 4 year old started crying because again, we had driven 25 minutes just to be turned away. We used the bathroom before driving the 25 minutes back home. The bathrooms were disgusting. And none of the hand sanitizer stations had anything in them. We tried 3 different ones. I was offered no apology. The employees didn't offer to show us the "other fun activities" that were open. And the whole time that my child was crying, the other employees were just staring at him, as if they'd never seen a kid cry before. I'm not mad that the lanes were rented out, but it does infuriate me that there was nothing on their website. If you know all lanes are taken and most of your other activities are closed, why not post that on your website so customers traveling know not to waste their...
