Leacock Shoe Store — Local services in Paradise Township

I've done business with these people a couple of times before and was very satisfied until last Saturday. I came all the way from Honey Brook and was at the store @ 12:55 P.M.only to find them closed early because there posted closing time is 1:00 on Saturdays which was a real disappointment.

There was also two other people that were not with me which were turned away and very didapointed because they closed early as well.

I look forward in doing future business with them however If I go there again to find a locked door before there posted closing time it would have to be my last visit.

Absolutely amazing store and super friendly! I read some reviews that accused the owner of being an alcoholic. LeRoy is a blind man, yet he runs a very successful business and is a pleasure to visit with. We are in the area about 4 to 6 times per year and we look forward to stopping at the store everytime we are in the area. For those of you giving this place 1 star because of the "drunk" owner....shame on you! He is blind. Yes, that's right...BLIND! So before you go spouting off ridiculous accusations maybe you should grow up and learn to respect those less fortunate than yourself! This handicap has not kept him from growing a successful business for the past 20 years. I proudly give them 5 stars and...
