I had ordered skis for a weeklong vacation, from the beginning the staff was very knowledgeable and polite. The skis were delivered exactly when we had proposed and the fitting went very quickly. My experience started to have a downward spiral when I called in to swap my performance skis out for a set of powder skis. The staff member who answered the phone was quite snappy and critical about me swapping the skis, saying that there was no powder. After stating that I was going to powder mountain he mentioned again that it has been all skid up, which he was VERY wrong about... Regardless I brushed it off and moved on. Come the final day of my trip I called Ski Valet and asked for the skis to be picked up, the staff member informed me that the "Demo" AKA powder skis were an additional 20$ a day and he would need my credit card. When I returned home I called back to discuss the charges and mentioned 1 being that the additional charge was never mentioned when I had called in to swap the skis. 2 If the staff member had mentioned the additional fee I would have returned the skis at that point and borrowed my friends powder skis. And 3 these were in no way "Demo" skis, they were beat up, battered, and bruised for at least 1 prior season. Being a customer I feel that an additional fee is something that should explicitly be stated. The staff member rudely informed me that ANY rental place would have this fee structure and I "should have checked the website..." We went back and forth, after a while I asked if he would rather make 40 dollars on this purchase than have a repeat customer? The staff member replied that “the fees are setup this way and there is nothing he can do". Needless to say Ski Valet has VERY poor customer service, they do not mention additional fees and on top of everything they charge 10$ to swap out skis or any other equipment which is fine but again was not mentioned until I received the bill with the 40 dollars in additional rentals and 10 dollars for the swap out. The delivery people were an absolute pleasure to deal with, this interaction was had strictly with the person...
Read moreSki Valet and their team were one of the highlights of my trip to PC. This was my first time in Park City as well as my first time on a pair of skis! They were so incredibly informative and helpful through the whole process. They were on time to deliver our skis for 4 different people in our party. After my first day of skiing, I had an issue with my boots; due to the size of my incredibly muscular calves lol! We called Ski Valet that afternoon and as promised, early the next morning a team member showed up with not 1 but 3 different sets of boots for me to try on. They were so helpful and willing to make sure I was comfortable with my gear and also showed me how to adjust the fit if needed. I can’t say enough about how great my experience was. I will use them again on my next trip as I have caught the ski fever. 10/10 experience and I would recommend to anyone needing ski equipment/gear while visiting Park...
Read moreI'd avoid these people. There are too many other good ski delivery services in Park City. They charge as much as the others but they forget that this is a SERVICE.....They were totally unprofessional. Never received an estimate. Had TWO sets of skis malfunction and fall apart during the 4 days of my rental period. Never got an apology or a discount on those partial days I couldn't ski!!! I had to contact them several times afterwards to even get a copy of the bill....and then it was all clear....they didn't send it because they had overcharged my entire party of 7 by several days....and also added extra bogus penalty charges which, of course, weren't mentioned any of the paperwork I filled out.... When I asked them to please amend the bill they told me that I was lucky they didn't charge me more!! I'm not sure why I allowed my concierge to coerce me away from Ski Butlers!! That was a...
