My son, had a Spontaneous Pneumothorax, which is a twenty dollar way of saying; he had an unexpected hole in his lung. Since my son was 18, he was legally able to tell the doctors that he didn't want to be admitted into the hospital. Yes, he was being stubborn. As we were waiting for another doctor to come into the room to talk to my son, I was standing by the door with my fiancé and we overheard 2 nurses talking about my son's treatment. The 1st nurse was talking about administering an I.V. and the 2nd nurse spoke up and said that "he's refusing to be admitted in, so he won't need that." to which the 1st nurse replied "well, if it's out-of-the package, it's billed." In the end, because of them telling us that he was required to go, we ended up being sent to Marshfield, 2 hours away. My son, by ambulance ( and us following behind ) because they said he needed a breathing tube to stabilize his lung pressure. We then got to Marshfield and found out that we didn't need to come. Because, his doctor ordered + ambulance required, breathing tube was not actually connected, the attending EMTs never noticed! It was a machine with a tube attached to it, and it to my son. The whole reason we couldn't legally -according to the nurses - transport my son ourselves was because of the fragility of the machine, and it needing to be monitored!

So, my 18 year old son, got the pleasure of experiencing, in my opinion, malpractice. Now, I'm not saying that there was any wrongful doing...but it sure seemed to my layman's eye that it was, at...

Don't go to window 4 this very rude mean venum spitting old lady is outright the worst person in this city and should be fired for her poor conduct towards the general population if I could give this place negative stars I would just because of her. For the record I always take my children to the doctors. I know my children's doctors personally just because I didn't know it's address or the name of the building but DID KNOW THE DOCS NAME doesn't give her the right to belittle me. Marshfield clinic would be a better place without this loser and I will be filing a formal complaint with there head office...rude just the rudest most mean spirited person I have met in this otherwise very nice city. I feel so bad for the other reviewers, with their awful experiences..... We've been going here for over 12 years now, I have only had very good experiences. With Park Falls as our main go to clinic & the one in Minocqua; my husband myself,&my sister,she was an Emergency case the Dr in the emergency room stiched her face & mouth inside & out. She has one tiny almost invisible scar just above her lip! I Would like to give both over the 5 star rating! I've only had one encounter with my meds. By a different Dr. Than mine. A mistake to be sure ....especially by me when I didn't check my new medicines milligrams. & I think the hospital is great too. Would give them over...
