BLISS Body Piercing and Fine Jewelry — Local services in Parkersburg

I had heard of this shop when a friend of mine reposted getting their high nostrils pierced. I have wanted to get a tongue piercing for awhile now but anxiety and just not having a piercer I felt comfortable doing it was holding me back. Actually having someone check my anatomy, but also pierce in a way that was protective to my oral health mattered a lot to me, and Justus did all this. First impressions of the shop, my partner and I were just impressed at how sterile and clean the place was. Justus was super knowledgeable and gave me a lot of suggestions for the different types of jewelry you could do in the tongue. Between some flinching, me feeling lightheaded, and the jewelry giving us some issues, the piercing process definitely lasted longer than I expected. Justus remained extremely calm and did everything to make sure I’d still be able to leave with a piercing (but safely). I ended up swelling a lot more than expected after the piercing and ended up reaching out to Justus the next day when the shop was closed. Not only did he respond immediately, but came in on his day away to change out the jewelry for me into a more comfortable bar and was very informative on some other things to watch out for. I’ve had additional questions since and he’s answered those, which means a lot, because I have a lot of anxiety honestly when it comes reaching out and I generally don’t. Now here’s to just some healthy healing. My partner has some very anatomy dependent piercings she wants to get done in the future and we will be coming back to this location, as well as for some jewelry. I received my first brow piercing at BLISS and it was a very positive and pleasant experience. Justus made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment I walked in. It is evident that Justus is a professional at what he does from the level of care he puts into the disinfection, prep, piercing, cleaning, and the delivery of aftercare instructions. He encouraged me to reach out whenever I have concerns or questions. He also encouraged me to make a follow-up appt to ensure that my piercing is healing like it should. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a body piercing to give Justus a visit!

Update: I just got a double helix piercing and I couldn't be happier with the placement or design! I have many friends with body piercings, and from I've seen and personally experienced, Justus is the best in the business. We really are fortunate to have a talented, professional piercer locally...

The vibes are great, it is SUPER clean, the jewelry is the best quality, and the piercer is very knowledgeable in his craft.
