Parkersburg Hardware and Garden Center — Local services in Parkersburg

I go here and skip the big box hardware stores whenever I can possibly do so. Why? because they are great people who deserve it! This store is ran a bit like hardware stores of days gone, when they were an important part of most every community who cared about the people that walked thru its doors. Its refreshing for sure. It's also nice when you don't have to fight traffic, then walk a total of about a mile 1/2, taking about 2 hours of your time when you just need a few things. Keep the money you spend here locally and to those who will give back locally vs supporting some giant corporate headquarters and its profit margins. Support the smaller businesses, and definitely support the hard working good folks out there still trying to bring so much...

This place is brand new and they pack a lot of stuff in a small space. Very well organized. Such a friendly staff. The owner is a very nice and will go out of his way to help you.
