I believe this is the longest, if not only, public pier along Pascagoula Beach. It's open during the day to anyone that wants to feel the warm ocean air flowing across their face. This is also a fishing spot that usually has a few fishermen hoping to reel in a huge red fish or speckled trout. So be prepared to enjoy the scent of fresh salty air & a sometimes frequented by that smelly fishy aroma that comes with fishing for hours to bring in that trophy fish or dinner, however you look at it. You may even run across a few people that seem to be searching under,over & on the pier for something you probably don't see. Read moreIt's not the best beach in Jackson County, but the long also enjoy it. The pier itself is nice and offers great views of Ingall's Shipyard and Chevron. It was windy today so not many birds, but we saw a couple. The pier is well made and hopefully will be around for many many years to come. I would give it 5 stars, but the pier needs some fixing up as it has many broken lights and the well for the fish cleaning station is not functioning. Overall it was a pleasant trip...
