My very detailed and honest opinion of my visit!!!!! (You'll see why I gave it 3 stars)

I read all the reviews before my visit and at the end of your visit you will also think it isn't worth the $46/person you paid, especially seeing all the broken bulbs they don't fix or replace when ppl pay so much. But knowing it ahead of time made it sting less. I recommend if you go that you have other things to do that day in the area so it feels less wasted. (Architrcture graveyard about an hr away) And it really is a cute date night when the lights do come on.

Get the 7pm ticket. Although the lights don't come on till about 830pm it is worth it to walk around and find your vantage points for pictures. Especially because it's no flash and will be very crowded after 830.

Watch out for the other visitors. They were mostly rude, wouldn't try to single file their large groups, and bump into you hard (I got shoulder checked twice). Some brought their dogs that clearly weren't certified therapy dogs 🙄. Used flash on their cameras though signs are posted everywhere not to.

Bring a jacket or small blanket to bundle up bc it will be cold windy. (I went 30 July and the second the sun was setting it started getting cold.

No outside drinks and food. They have food trucks when you first come in, which is also the way out. It was a Mexican style place, an American style grill, and 2 others I didn't look at. That area is nice if you wanna sit and listen to the live music.

The name of it being a light show. The lights literally just change colors. There isn't music along with it. There is the music when you come in before the lights, walk through the lights and there is no music, and then keep going to the light tower and they play some interesting music inside of those. But if you thought the lights would change to some nice music that's a negative.

VIP tickets. Don't bother with the $117 VIP ticket unless you have mad photo skills to use. All it is is a small higher ground area for a view to watch the sunset and some heat sources. (There are a few heaters by the food trucks/tables).

Lastly, the worth of it all...is it? Honestly I think it was worth going to say I went and we made the most of it for our date. Just keep in mind the advice I left here and you'll have a better time knowing it in advance so it won't dampen your...
