On recommendation, I was excited to visit this shop and drove for 30 minutes to get there. I didn't feel welcomed here. Couldn't get anyone to acknowledge me, even though I was standing at the counter for several minutes. It appeared that the averted eyes and feigned busyness behind the counter were all in attempt to not wait on me. As an African American finding myself in spaces where I am not welcome, I have learned to just stay and not allow others to define ANYTHING for me. My dad was just asking him question about a lamb he wanted to purchase and this guy was very bothered. He kept blowing ciggs in our faces, kept us in the dirty area not opening the gates. Was shopping on my second or third trip here soon after they opened. Ask about pork belly. They brought out a whole piece and quoted a price and gave the weight. I selected some other items and my wife paid for our purchases while I was looking around. They price she paid for the pork belly was almost $8.00 per pound. A nice inflation of the quoted price.
