Halal Butcher Store — Local services in Paterson

Customer service is terrible. I placed my first order and excitedly awaited its arrival. It was brought in as soon as it was delivered with almost all the chicken products and pizza completely defrosted, meat juice all over the box and my kitchen floor. I rinsed out all the packages and it took me some time to clean up. Furthermore, all of the ice packs were placed on TOP of the meat rather than on the top and bottom with the meat sandwiched in between - which caused the meat at the bottom to be defrosted. I contacted customer service with photos as soon as I was finished cleaning. I suppose even receiving a simple apology with the promise of doing better next time was too much because all I received was a defensive response with zero resolution. Given that it has been a full week, I thought it fair to warn others that if customer service is this severely lacking and the products aren't even being packed properly, how can this be a trustworthy company? Sorely...

I ordered lamb from them and regret why I paid that much money for dirty meat full of lamb hair not cleaned well, the color of the meat was brownish, smells bad, I was forced to seat and clean it again remove all the spoiled pieces which was cut in a way my 14 year old son can cut it in better way, throw it Weast of time and money, customer service doesn’t reply I send them emails with all the pictures and explain, they don’t care and didn’t bother to reply, never ever buy from them again, if I can give them zero...

I saw one of my friends post about this place on Instagram so I had to try it! The packaging was great and everything arrived still cold! I ordered the Halal Butcher box special which contains chicken, steaks & ground beef. I’m extremely picky about chicken so it was a huge relief how great the quality was! The steaks look amazing & I will be trying those this week. I’m very happy I saved myself a trip to the grocery store because I won’t be finding quality meat...
