CVS — Local services in Peabody

The one next to home closed (which also wasn’t the greatest either) but this location constantly has a massive line. Sure maybe that’s due to the other one closing.. however going days without a medication that I am not supposed to be off of is unacceptable. There was a refill already there by my dr. I had to reach out to my dr to fill it. Which I did and cvs never filled it. Reached out to cvs and they had nothing. I am now on DAY 4 .. COMPLETELY OFF THIS MEDICATION. Which again, I’m not supposed to be off of, it takes months to regulate in my body. Called today, was told they will call me when it’s ready. 6 hours go by, no call so I call them, was told to give them 30 mins. Andddddd I still have no medication. Now I’m off to Walgreens.

Last month, a prescription I needed was ordered and it took almost a week to get it, for no reason.Every time I called, I was provided with a different reason. My doctor called in a new prescription on April 7. The CVS app said it was too early to fill and it would be ready on 4/15. Of course, today it says it needs to be ordered today, 4/15. I called and was told that I "should know" I need to contact the pharmacy to order it. After responding that the app stated it would ready, she said I should still know to call. I asked how I would know to call when the app told me that it said it would be ready and her response was it's my responsibility. How about, instead of blaming it on me (since I'm not psychic) explain that the app provided misinformation and next time I should call instead of trying to suggest that I'm an idiot for not...

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They shorted me on a medication, refused to fill it early or prove that they had given me the correct amount. This medication is a controlled substance purely because it’s expensive and a couple days without it could literally kill me. Luckily my doctor was able to find another pharmacy that would fill it for me before I run out. These people are lucky I can’t afford to hire a lawyer. I had to reschedule a flight and hotel reservation for hundreds of dollars because of their mistake.
