On a motorcycle touring trip to Mount Rainier, we were traveling through eastern Orgeon. Much to my suprise (having never been to Oregon), I could not believe my eyes. I expected Oregon to be like Germany: lush green, thick green forests, and wild blackberries and cherries everywhere. Well... Yeah, not so much. In fact, my first thought was that this looked like Amarillo, Texas with taller grass! Having said that, there is a beauty about it that, though expecting something different, I have to say is really cool.

It’s a one way all around. Parking for regular vehicles and big rigs. Absolutely amazing view all the way around! It’s a must when passing through the 84 westbound. No restrooms though, just park and rest, take pics, catch your breath ( really fresh air ) or let go all of your troubling thoughts to the view! It is that AMAZING!

Is a nice place to take a break. Just please be kind if your in a long vehicle and park in the right spot! So many people seem to just park across all 7 spots becuase its ok for some reason. Lots of LONG vehicles stop for a rest and look, be...
