Dussel's Farm Market & Greenhouses — Local services in Penn Township

If you haven't visited Dussel's Garden Center, you need to. Dussel's is a fabulous place for all your gardening needs. Very nice and helpful staff. They have items you can't find anywhere else. Bird feeders, garden artwork, fresh fruits and vegetables, local clothing wear, a plethora of different coffies, seasonal decorations, and so much more. I just picked up some mums for my yard and garden for $5.99 a plant!!! Other places have them for $12.99 and up. Dussel's even have smaller ones for $1.99 each. Be sure to keep them watered though...lol. (Thanks for the tip 😉) They even have fresh cookies and muffins. I picked a cranberry orange and lemon muffin. Oh. My. Goodness. The flavors were amazing. Cranberries are bursting in my mouth with flavor. I will definitely be back. I drive 30 minutes several times a year just to go to your garden center. Don't get me wrong this place has amazing stuff but it's WAY too expensive AND my husband is tribal we got gift cards to go there from his tribe and we went there to check it out. No one would help us which was so funny because there were soooo many people working that day but every time we'd try to ask for help they seemed too busy to be bothered. Anyways my husband got some milk, canned veggies, and I got butter, when the lady was ringing us up we asked if the canned veggies counted towards our gift card which clearly states we are allowed any veggies. But she didn't seem to care and said we could not get the canned veggies with the gift card we'd have to pay for them. Just rubbed me the wrong way and on top of it no customer service...

I normally love Dussels but they mentioned they would try to get a certain tree start for my mother's burial site. I wanted to let them off the hook but they insisted on me letting them try. Instead of apologizing to me for not meeting my needs. They tried to sell me something completely different. I felt put on the spot as if I had to buy this large tree that would be so difficult to travel with. Like I said I love Dussels but this experience was out of the ordinary and left me feeling not...
