My girlfriend and I moved in to a new place, and decided it was time to finally start buying some "permanent" furniture. We are really in to the reclaimed look and started our journey at Restoration Hardware. We were bummed after the visit, because it seemed manufactured and had no flavor. After searching around, we stumbled on to Springhouse. Our first visit was so much fun. The place is packed with really cool stuff, in a laid back atmosphere. The owner Anne, was super friendly right off the bat and told us to let us know if we needed help. Once we were ready, Anne took all of our ideas and turned them in to reality. She walked us around her floor giving us great ideas. She took our initial idea, and mixed it with her experience to come up with really cool custom furniture. Did I mention it is custom? You don't have to be a millionaire to get one of a kind furniture. On our first visit we only intended to buy a kitchen table and coffee table. We ended up ordering bar stools and an end table as well. Since then we bought a custom made liquor cabinet, which is awesome, and I just ordered a desk today. Anne delivers on all of her promises, which is really cool, well made custom furniture. The quality of this furniture is an investment. I plan on having it for 50+ years, and then someone else can enjoy it. I highly recommend...

My wife and I just finished up redoing our entire kitchen and pantry using Springhouse Furnishings and the talents of Anne Joyce and her staff. I withheld writing this review until all pieces were finished and delivered.

I can honestly say that from top to bottom it was done in a professional and masterly manner. Anne was right there the entire way, offering suggestions that fine-tuned our ideas. Her knowledge of wood is great, but it was more her vision for our home that made it so pleasurable. She could see things that completed our idea and it wasn't just to make a sale. She often recommended the cheaper avenues for our decisions when they complimented the space better.

As to her staff, especially Tom and Amy, they were there for us when Anne was out and were equally helpful and kind whenever we stopped in. Good people.

I happened to stop in on a whim, and found this gorgeous table, bench, and side table (most likely intended to be used as a buffet table, but it will function as a sofa table for us). I have been looking for “the perfect” kitchen table for 15+ years, and there it was. Tom told me the history of the table and how rare it is to find furniture made from 100% American Chestnut (He is an encyclopedia of all things Revolutionary era, and I enjoyed learning from him!). Anne was wonderful as well. I felt she gave us a fair asking price from the start, and the delivery went smoothly. I would highly recommend stopping in and taking a look around this shop! They have beautiful antiques and can make custom pieces for any area of your home. Anne can also help with design choices. I couldn’t be happier with my beautiful new kitchen table set, and I have no doubt I’ll be shopping with Springhouse...
