The Breeze Cinema 8 — Local services in Pensacola

The staff are extremely friendly. However, I 've gone to this theater often and there always seems to be an issue. During a screening of suicide squad the picture went out during the last 10 minutes leaving everyone with just audio. Then tonight I attended the premiere of guardians of the galaxy 2. We arrived about 40 minutes early to ensure we got good seats. We asked if we could enter the theater and we're told yeah we were good to go. When we entered a movie was playing so we exited and waited outside the theater about 10 minutes go by and the line started forming. Then someone over hears that the theater was overlapped and the movie playing wasn't going to end until an hour after the scheduled start time of guardians. Another 10 minutes go by and an employee informs us that they are going to be moving the people currently in the theater, who are mid movie, to another theater and then seat us. So after they made those people switch to a different theater they let us get seated. The movie starts and for the entirety of the movie several flys kept landing on the lense projecting shadows across the screen. I won't be frequenting this movie...

The reviews here are correct-- the movie theater is very dark outside, hard to tell if it's even a theater. I mention that because if you're from out of town as we are you may think your directions are incorrect. But also it's unnecessary to have a theater lit up like a UFO so yay for less light pollution. The seats weren't very comfortable, but not horrible. Just old school seats. The theater was clean and the staff was very friendly. My biggest complaint was that the times listed were for an 8:30 pm showing, but we walked in at 8:28 and the movie was already going. I have no idea how much we missed because it was Captain Marvel and I'd read reviews that stated the beginning is fairly confusing. I didn't say anything to the manager because, as I stated above, we're from out of town and I'd rather spend time at the beach than sitting through another showing. Just went there for the first time this week; I took about 30 kids there for a field trip. The staff were very helpful and had a smiling face. They offer share bags which are complimentary and so I bought 4 large popcorns, which you get 1 free refill, thus cutting my food expenses by literally 75%!! The theater is a little old but still in good shape. The only reason I didn't give an additional star was it seemed that everything was wasn't running right and the manager was nowhere to be found. All the movies were starting late and when the staff went to report guest complaints he seemed pretty nonchalant about it. Also they had placed us and another group of people in the wrong theater....so now I have 30 elementary school kids settled with a movie that has already started to now move to the other side of the theater... ughhhh.
