It was my first time going to the Food Bank in Peralta I was very impressed how organized the team of people were & How kind & helpful they were in helping me get my food box Im a 70 yr. old woman in a wheel chair after signing in a kind gentleman greeted me & told me he would help get my food box together He pushed a cart through the different food stations putting in the items I wanted &/needed I followed him in my wheel chair. He was very kind & helpful When I was done he assisted me by loading my box in the car & helping me to the car in my wheelchair I was pleased & very impressed with the people They were professional & pleasant &/helpful making sure everyone was taken care of & they got their food box~ God Bless all who made it possible for people who needed food today to get fed grateful & sincere...

Volunteers are welcomed by friendly, caring staff. This is an organized operation, no paid staff, and yet many new and long term volunteers work every Monday to service the local community.

This is the only food bank I've found that is open on the holidays falling on Mondays. To volunteer show up by 9am and stay till close usually noon. Or call ahead for details. Set up - clean up and be wowed by this well run and loving non-secular ministery.

The church is set back from the street in a rural community. The food bank has separate buildings and includes fresh vegetables, refrigerator, frozen and non-perishable items. Each family or individual receives food 1 time per month. Volunteers receive food if requested and within certain parameters. I highly recommend this volunteer...

It's tough being on social Security & sometimes food stamps just don't cut it! But the wonderful people at this church has a food bank every Monday & give out some really good food too! It really helps out a lot! One thing I like is, you receive your box once a month, BUT if you can't make it that day, you can go the next monday, as long as it's once a month.
