I would give them a five star because they are a great place to take your boat to be repaired. They do a great job at a reasonable price but I have to take one star away for the lady that answers the phone and works at the front desk. She’s an older lady but that’s no excuse for her attitude. Shes rude and dismissive. That being said, I will still take my boat there. I just won’t enjoy speaking to that lady lol. Probably gonna give her back some of her attitude the next time I’m there. LOL. She is not helpful and she’s hateful whether in person when you go to the store or over the phone. I think she’s worked there for many years, but she must really hate her job. June 2021, Shout out to Kevin from West Perry Boat and Motor, Inc. I was in the Freedom For Fishing (FFF) Mark Twain Lake I had taken the boat out prior to the tournament and Murphy struck, was towed back to the ramp it was suggested by a FFF staff member (Mike) to go to West Perry and ask for Kevin. I can not think Kevin enough for the repairing and teaching at the same time, 2hrs 30min later the boat was back on the water. It was our first time on MTL with our pontoon, with a Mercury 50hp, barely 7hrs on it I! Our motor locked up around 9 am,.. called another repair shop, who towed us to a ramp, but they didn’t work on Mercury motors. So we called West Perry Boat, Marie was so kind on the phone. Mike looked at it, knew exactly what was wrong and luckily had a refurbished part to replace it. By 2 pm, it was fixed! Again, this was a Monday, and not a Saturday, so not as busy!
