I bought a pair of boots from here 2 years ago but completely forgot to leave a review. I showed up unannounced one night and decided I was sick of my ill-fitting boots that were very old and getting too small. So thankful to have a wonderful sales lady who didn't judge me at all that I am a lady with really large, really wide feet and wide calves. We just kept trying ones on until I found a pair I was really pleased with BUT my calves were still kind of being squeezed by them. The team used a stretcher to get the calves stretched just enough for me that they no longer rubbed. I was so pleased and so happy that I didn't feel judged or shamed for having bigger feet and calves. I had my boots on tonight for an event and got a bunch of compliments and it made me remember this store. I'm an hour away but it was totally worth every mile to get a perfect fit and...

Tucked just 4.6 miles east of I-75 in Perrysburg, Ohio, you'll find the home of @sonseeahraywesternstore. A locally owned store that was established in 1969. Ryan, the owner, is the grandson of its founder.

They offer a vast selection of straw/felt hats, boots, clothing, hat shaping services, saddles, and more.

I wA greeted immediately upon coming in the door with a friendly smile and a welcome.

Ryan was able to fix my brim (reshape) and made a slight width adjustment to it as well.

Prices are in line with other mom and pop businesses around the region.

I saw the store featured on the Cowboy Cartel YouTube channel, and was thrilled to see it was on the path of my road trip. We stopped in later in the afternoon and was greeted by the staff right as we walked in. I was thoroughly impressed with the selection of boots, both mens and womens. They had a huge selection of clothing, but being a bigger dude, I usually have to hit the specialty stores for clothing, so I buzzed through that section. The hat wall was filled up with quality hats from a lot of the big name brands. I had my 6x Stetson cleaned and reshaped by Ryan, and he did an outstanding job! If this store wasn't a 10+ hour drive from where I live, I'd be a regular customer. If you're in the market for quality western wear, I highly recommend Sonseeahray...
