As you drive up to this place do yourself a favor and turn around and lease elsewhere, like literally anywhere else. Buildings are so cheaply made. You can hear everything. Management encourages it's tenets to call the police for noise complaints. Doesn't matter if it's before curfew. They will not bother to investigate or mediate the situation between tenets. The pool is used by non residents. The "fitness" center seems to always be occupied by either unsupervised children, or non residents. The internet is monopolized, rent was constantly posted late, the gate is useless it's always broken. Management's competency is laughable. They don't know their own policies or contracts. For example we were told we could have someone sublease our apartment to avoid lease breaking fees. We found someone they went through the application processes. Then literally two hours before turning in our key I get an email (not a phone call because I guess they don't know how communication works) stating we had a delinquent account and we're not allowed to sublease. When confronting the staff, they literally said "we can't do that it's not in our contract we goofed" even though they it was their idea in the first place. We ended up paying the fees anyways, good riddance. There's a review on here on the parking policy in place, the issue is not whether tenets understand it, it's the annoyance of it. If you want a secure and covered parkings spot you have to pay extra for it, which is fine, but there are so many unused parking spots that can be used for extra tenet parking. And lastly the smell of illegal substances was constantly floating outside and inside our apartment. Management said they found the source, but smell still persisted till or last day.(we leased for six months) So unless you want to spend practically the cost of a monthly mortgage payment on a tiny, poorly built apartment ran by incompetent staff I encourage you to look elsewhere. Jackson place staff please don't respond with a passive aggressive comment to reach out to your office. Been there don't that...
Read moreThe apartments themselves are awesome and I give them 5 stars. The only thing I take issue with is the fact that management has changed 2 times in the year that we lived there. This would be fine if the transition had been smooth and we had no issues. For the amount we pay in rent in the Valley of all places we should have little to no issued. The only person that has been consistent is Rebecca and I prefer to only talk to her since she's known us since we signed the lease. When they got the new manager the 2nd time they tried to say we weren't up to date on our rent and then immediately went to leaving an eviction notice. Luckily I held on to our receipts and they saw that the 1st group of management forgot to say that we got the first month free. Ok fine. I can take that as long as it got fixed. So then a few months later we transfer to a bigger apartment and everything was smooth sailing or so I thought. We had asked several times if we were caught up on rent or if we owed anything and they said we were cleared. First month our bill comes and it's way higher than what we signed on our lease. They said they would fix that and that we were good just to pay what we are supposed to. Ok done. Next month my husband gets a call saying that we are delinquent on our rent even though I had the receipt to show we paid it. Turns out they never fixed that previous months rent amount so it looked like we owed money. I called talked to them and they said they would look into it and call back. Never received a call back. I paid rent yesterday and saw that $500 balance was still on there. My husband spoke with them and they said they would fix it and they will call us back. Hopefully they do this time. We aren't trying to be those nagging tenants but when you keep trying to say we owe money and we don't it gets to be pretty obnoxious. Usually when I talk to Rebecca things get handled right away which is why I prefer to only speak to her. If you lease here...
Read moreThey STEAL your money! My husband and I lived there with our dog. We went in and paid our pet deposit which they said they wouldn’t take a card or a personal check and said it had to be a cashiers check. So we went and got a cashiers check for them and paid it. Once we were ready to move out we went in to get our money and they said they’d get it approved and send it to us in the mail. Weeks went by and we hadn’t heard anything from them. So we called and they said they had never received a pet deposit from us. We couldn’t believe it. My husband started to get really frustrated and was trying to figure out how that could have happened and they HUNG UP on him. So a couple weeks later my husband was in town and went into the office to talk to them about it. They said they never received a pet deposit from us and asked if we could show them proof. We told them they wouldn’t let us pay a personal check and wouldn’t give us a receipt so we had no proof. We showed them the date that we had paid for the cashiers check and they looked through their pile of check copies. As they were going through my husband saw our check and they said oh, it looks like someone wrote the wrong apartment number. Sorry about that. We will send this to management and get it approved and sent to you. So he left and came back home to Utah. Few weeks later we still hadn’t heard from them. We called and they said it looks like the deposit has been approved for refund but since it says it was for a different apartment that you weren’t living in, we can’t give any money back to you. So basically they told us that since they made a mistake and wrote the wrong apartment number on our check, they get to keep our $160. Completely crazy. I would never recommend this complex to anyone because they are very disorganized...
