Arrived early with groupon tickets online told Sharon had 12 in party. she said no problem. Had us all signed in paid for setup and ready to go Before the whole crew came in. as they arrived they checked in. she had Casey do the intake .. as they came in he incorporated my crew into other groups and even did a 1 on 1 for my kids to get them going none of my group had to wait more then 5 min. "Joker" had my crew equipped with all equipment and replaced faulty equipment "BEFORE" they even knee something was wrong!! he would see them having a difficult time and immediately was on it. ( say hey joker tell me a joke and he will make you laugh about something crazy!!) Rafe came over and made sure everybody was good I sense he knew it was our first time but he took good care of us. I'm going to call him "Big J" NO DISRESPECT!! He hooked us up with the speed section battle zone white barriers area for a couple rounds . that was the best !! It seriously felt that we had VIP status around there. Even the season Vets were helpful they came over helped the kids when they were having trouble with equipment, One of my sons was on leave from the Navy and this was his last day so we had planned this as a departure adventure. He had a blast with his brothers and sisters and the whole clan . knowing that he ships off and is setting off to be headed to sea for 45 days to an unspecified destination he couldn't tell us due to security reasons. You made your valuable time together extremely grateful and for that we thank you azbattlezone staff. shout out to Mike's 50th birthday party. your wife or daughter gave my littlest one a cupcake which brightened his day since he was too young so he had to hang out with the whole time!! stay cool guys.... I had high expectations for BattleZone because they are one of the only fields (maybe the only field) in the Phoenix area with a true speedball field. Unfortunately, many great fields that used to exist in Phoenix have closed in recent years partly because they allowed paintball teams to dominate their speedball fields for weekend practices while ignoring the casual players that want to play on their turf fields.

I went to BattleZone on Saturday 3/14/2020 after a week of heavy rain. The entire facility was flooded/muddy and the recreational fields were, in my opinion, unsafe for play. One of their two turf speedball fields was dry, but they would not allow casual players to use it because a couple teams were using it for practice. The one rec field that we were confined to was extremely muddy and made for a disappointing experience.

I also noticed that management allowed people to dry fire their markers in the staging area, which is extremely unsafe and could get someone seriously injured. In addition, the referees did not ever check the velocity of my marker to ensure that I was under their 280 FPS limit. I actually had to ask one of the employees what their velocity requirement was and he responded “I think it’s 280.” Very reassuring...

I wish success for the owner of BattleZone, but changes need to be made in order for your field to be successful long-term. I would highly recommend Fightertown Paintball Park if you are looking for a safe, family-oriented paintball facility in the...

Absolutely love everything about this place. Rafe and Sheren immediately make you feel like family. Being new to the sport, I was so happy to walk onto the property and be greeted with such hospitality! Everything was explained to my sons and I in detail. Safety is their first priority. The refs are amazing....thank you Anthony, Tricia, Daniel, and Annie for all you do! You can purchase anything you need there as well...and Greg will spend as long as it takes helping you make the purchase that is right for you and your family. There are so many fields and they are constantly being changed up to keep it fresh. They just got a huge helicopter on property! So fun! Every single person on staff has taken time to teach, uplift, support and encourage my boys. In just a few visits, paintball has become their whole world! If you have even the slightest interest in paintball, this is where you need to be. Thank you, Rafe, for being a home away from home...
