Dollar General — Local services in Picayune

The new manager Ashley is very rude and not friendly at all. I usually go in there but this is the second time I’ve seen her there so she must be new. Anyways, my boyfriend goes in there to get mucinex because he’s sick and he gets a candle and a 12 pack of sprite. He uses the self checkout because that’s what we’re prone to nowadays. Supposedly the payment for the candle and mucinex went through but the sprite did not. He walked out of the store to the car and Ashley comes outside being extremely unprofessional and giving attitude about him not paying for the sprite when she could’ve simply handled it differently. Went there for a baby shower goft ans there was so much stuff on sale that i could not help myself. My buggy was loaded down. I had issues with a few things not being marked right but the sweet lady working fixed it right on up. I have had bad experiences in the past where sale items were not as promoted and she was very apologetic. I will definitely visit again many more times. I've lived in Picayune off and on over the last 7 years and this store is basically like my second home :) I have to admit that the people working there now are the friendliest most WILLINGLY helpful crew they've had in a long time.
