I will no long be doing any business with Riddles Jewelry as Riddles lost/stole my wife’s wedding ring. My wife dropped her wedding ring off last month to get it appraised so we could get some insurance on the ring, and at the same time another ring that need repaired. After several weeks she picked up the ring that was repaired and asked about the wedding ring that was supposed to be appraised. They local store where we dropped the ring off said they did not know about the other ring and had no record of it even though he have a receipt if dropping it off. This was near closing so my wife asked the store manager if she could find out what’s going on with it or where it’s at and give her a call. The next day my wife waited until the afternoon for a call but never got a call. So this lead to my wife and I calling daily to the store and to corporate where no one has ever returned a call except one customer service rep who called and left a message telling us the district manager was going to call us who never did. No one has been able to tell us where my wife’s wedding ring is and verify it’s actually there. We’ve been told that it was in a store in another city but they could tell us which one specially, another person told us it was in transit but could not tell us if that it was in transit back to the store or if it never arrived at its destination. Then another person told us well the ring wasn’t actually shipped that an individual working at the local store who was from another store in a different city actually took the ring with him to drop it off at the other location to save on postage. The highest ranking person who I talked to said it was in a specific store and he was going to go there and get it sent back to us and he was going to call me when he was there with the ring. No call. I called that specific store the next morning and they said that they believed in was in the safe of their trade market store waiting for an appraisal but that they can’t verify it because the trade store is closed for the weekend and they do not have the keys to it. So like I said Riddles basically stoke my wife rings and they have offered no resolution to the issue at all currently. This is honestly just a brief summary of the situation as everyone just gives us the run around because no one apparently knows where the ring is and no one really seems to care about us...
Read moreI went to Riddles and both Shawn and Kira were amazing and understanding for what I wanted to do for my wedding ring. I knew I eventually needed it resized and was looking around which band that would match to add for our 10 year wedding anniversary coming up soon. I did slip onto rocks and I felt so horrible during when I was engaged there was a scratch at the bottom surface of my ring. I came to riddles and it got buffed down VERY thin that I was always nervous to wear it. I did soldered it after our wedding to make the band stronger. From time to time getting it clean/inspected I stated that I just wanted to fix the surface of the bottom of my ring. I was told it was fine and felt mistreated. I decided to let it go as is back when. When the time is right I finally decided my band I wanted and the bottom surface to be even and add more white gold to fill if necessary. They said absolutely we can do that. I was very happy and relieved. Shawn unsoldering the original set fixing the oval shape look to round and resoldering all the bands as a piece. He made it so perfectly. I love how smooth the bottom surface is and how even it is as well. I feel more comfortable wearing my ring now then I ever did before. ♡♡ Thank you so much and our 10 year will be our best year...
Read moreOn June 27 2020,we purchased a wedding ring set from the store in Rapid City. 14 Aug my wife left the ring into our hometown store in Pierre for a few hours for cleaning. She found that a diamond was missing.the lady at the Pierre store was going to send it away for repair with a return date of 28 Aug. Today 29 Aug my wife stopped into the store to pick it up and the lady told my wife that she could not find the ring. My wife told her that she would be back in a couple hours. On my wifes return she was presented with "the ring" but the lady at the store told my wife that the prongs should be reset for the main diamond. I took a look at the ring and found that the two rings on either side of the main diamond are at different distances from each other with one diamond "crowding"the main diamond. Also I found that two of the lower diamonds are "crowding"each other. It also looks like the diamonds in the row are now out of alignment. I suspect that this is NOT the same ring that we purchased. I suspect that the woman at the Pierre store couldn't find my wifes ring and replaced it with another inferior ring from the same wedding set...
