Big Vista Lodge Smoky Mountains — Local services in Pigeon Forge

We spent two years trying to find a cabin for our massive family reunion and were fortunate enough to find the Big Vista Lodge just outside Pigeon Forge.

Our family reunion here was perfect. The location is great and the view from here is incredible. We loved the huge porch overlooking the Great Smokey Mountains. The outdoor eating area was also a favorite spot.

This house had room for all 40 of us, adults and kids. The rooms were a great size, every room had an attached bathroom which was very helpful.

The theater was a good size and had 3 large TV’s and the game room was fantastic with a few arcades and a billiards table.

We got plenty of use out of the indoor pool, the hot tub, and the firepit out back.

Big Vista Lodge also had a HUGE kitchen and HUGE dining room so we could all sit together for dinner.

Overall, this was a great place for a family reunion. Finding a cabin large enough for a group our size has proven difficult and we feel blessed that we found Big...

My family and I have created a tradition to come here every year for the past 12 years. This is the first time that we experience so many issues from roaches in the rooms, sewage odor throughout the first two levels of the cabin, the pool looked as fungus had been growing and it spelled horrible. The Hot Tubs didn't get hot, the sinks were stopped up, patio doors on multiple levels didn't lock. The bath tubs were grimy, one of the door locks had to be replaced because the lock was stripped and the occupant was locked out. I was then asked by the main office, "Should we come and repair it tonight". Can't make this up. Do better. We spent more than $10,000 for 4 days. This was one of the worst experiences that I've ever encountered. I notice that the reviews are being removed if they're not to your liking. Also, your not repairing the issues just renting it out to more people. Not ACCEPTABLE. Don't rent this lodge until...
