Surprisingly Refreshing DG Experience

Dollar General in Piggott stands out in all the right ways. The staff here deserve a big shoutout—not only are they friendly and helpful, but they handle the occasional “uncanny” customer with grace, patience, and a firm-but-polite professionalism you don’t see everywhere. Seriously, they keep things running smoothly at all hours, and it shows.

Compared to other DG locations, this one feels more organized. There’s way less clutter in the aisles, and I can actually find what I came for—most everything I’ve needed has been in stock, which is more than I can say for a lot of DGs I’ve been to.

But more than anything, I love this place for the same reason I love Casey’s—you encounter real people in real situations, and more often than not, I leave with a smile. That’s not something you can say at just any...

The employees were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products and their locations. I did however happen to glance at my receipt after I returned home and noticed I was overcharged on an item. That's a little frustrating as you have to ask yourself if it's worth addressing over a couple dollars or just letting it go. It's a good store and worth visiting. Just check the screen as your items are scanned or review your receipt...

One employee at this Dollar General stands out !! His name tag says,"Sam". A young man, very polite and always jumps to hold the door open for me, an 82 year old woman with a cart full, and non automatic doors. I have never gone in there that he is not busy stocking or at the register, etc. He should be recognized, because none of the other employees have EVER offered to open those heavy doors for me. ...
