Dollar General — Local services in Pine Ridge

I used to love that my home town opened up one of my favorite stores so close to me. Over the moon about this store Opening just a few minutes away. At first all the employees knew me by name... I'm not sure what happened but once Trevor left it's been literally a place I avoid like the plague. Unfortunately I've had nothing but rude, racist, dishonest employees threatening me physically and emotionally as well as making accusations towards my integrity. My family and I decided to go check out the Christmas clearance as I'm pushing my 2 year old son in the buggie (spouse in store also just at the other end) Sabrina came up to me (shes always rude to me) with an empty box slams it on the display shelf and says "you the only one been on that aisle so long" ( DUH I CAME FOR THE 50% CHRISTMAS) then proceeds with ”ima go run the cameras" i basically BEG her to so my the endless attitude towards me would stop.... I stated I'd stay in store while she did when my spouse approached saying "ma'am there's not a stealing bone in my body" to be interrupted by LINDA (I HAVE MUCH TO SAY ABOUT LINDA) "Sir we aren't talking about you. And at that point I'm FUMING and state ma'am I work hard for my money I don't steal for her to snicker and comment on some things I won't dare repeat. Oh yeah corporate did you know Ms. Sabrina and ol Linda smoke the funky cigarettes on shift..... I've called corporate numerous times with NO RESPONSE 😔 won't be back and my family won't be either. IMPORTANT: this store has a severe mold issue as of late. I’ve shopped at this store for almost 3 years and always enjoyed browsing, sometimes an hour. Great customer service, love the selection and location. I just am worried for the staff and customers who are being exposed to mold if they have allergies like me. For some people like me, mold is a serious respiratory system distress sometimes leading to hospitalization. Within 5 minutes of shopping today- my eyes burned and itched, my face itches and got hives, shortness of breath and light-heated buying one thing. Please listen to your employees and customers if they are experiencing any recent illnesses. I believe your store has a significant mold issue...

Employees are rude, lazy and constantly on their phones or chatting with one another and swearing. I was just cursed out for asking a simple question the would have required a yes or no but the employee ( older female) was extremely rude and hostile. It’s ridiculous because just about every dollar general I’ve been to is like that. Almost every isle is filled with floats full of boxed merchandise. There’s expired food on shelves/ fridge/ freezers and most the stores are unsanitary. I wouldn’t give this store a one star but i I had no choice.. shut...
