Midland Sports Complex — Local services in Pine Ridge

Great field. Clean bathrooms. TERRIBLE staff. Put my daughter in tball for all of 2 practices. Caitlin was rude from the jump(that should have been my first sign), Dawn isn’t any better. Was told by Ken that I could receive a partial refund if uniforms had already been ordered, and Dawn tells me that no refund will be issued. Completely unorganized from the jump. We were told to add a note if we wanted our kids together, so we did. They decided to put all 4 kids on a team together, & conveniently that team ended up not having a coach. So Caitlin made it a point to tell us we needed to “step up” if we wanted our kids to be on the same team & coach. She was informed that we were unable to coach. So of course, all of our kids ended up being put on separate teams. Which I feel like was done out of spite. Only 1 practice a week, for 3 weeks before games start. 2 practices in & we still didn’t know what our colors were going to be. I pulled my kid, & we won’t...

I’m given two stars for one reason. The football commentator on the night of your homecoming. We were visitors and our boys played a hard game and won. I understand this was homecoming and your kids deserved the attention. The commentator was on the mic rooting for HIS team. Our boys could clearly hear that. Our families were complaining about this as the commentator should be there, cheering for his team, BEFORE the game. If he needs to speak during the game, it should be to relay the ref calls to all parents. All of the kids deserved to hear, GO TEAM, YOU’RE DOING A GREAT JOB! The commentator should have NEVER been yelling in the mic for “his” team to “hit them”, “hit them hard”, “take them out!”. VERY unprofessional to say the least! We’re talking about 10 year old kids! He was extremely ridiculous to say the least! I’ll recommend to the public that no one should be against this team during homecoming if this jerk...

Midland Sports Complex is one of the better ballfields to play baseball at. With freshly manicured grass infields and lights for night games, these fields are a great spot for baseball tournaments. They keep their bathrooms clean and have a decent concessions stand for the fans to utilize. They even have a playground near the fields for younger siblings to play on while the games are going on. My only complaint about these fields is that there is no shade. So bring an umbrella or canopy so you can stay cool during day games. Overall would not mind coming...
